What arrives in the box and how to care for it

The journey

There are fifteen, not fourteen. The fifteenth is the resurrection, added in the twentieth century because a route that ends at the tomb leaves the story half told. Some parishes pray fourteen and some pray fifteen: here there are fifteen, and anyone who prefers can stop at the fourteenth.

How to read it

Each station is on its own panel and they are hung in a row along the wall, in the order of the prayer. In a church they are spread along the aisles so that you walk from one to the next: the Stations are prayed walking, not standing in one place.

When it is given

For a parish, a chapel or a brotherhood. It is the Lenten commission par excellence and it is best ordered three months ahead.
